About the Final Exam
After you complete all of the chapters, you will take a final exam based on the material you have read. In order to pass the final exam, you must get at least 70% to 80% of the questions correct, depending on the requirements of your court. Right after you complete the final exam, we will let you know whether you passed.
Some courts require that you verify your identity prior to taking the final exam. This may be accomplished by taking the final exam at an on-site testing location, taking the exam in the presence of a notary public or, if you received your ticket in California, by verifying your identity online at the end of the course.
In the event that you do not pass the final exam on your first try, you can continue to re-study the material and re-take it until you pass-without any further fees.
When you pass the final exam, we will notify you immediately via e-mail and, depending upon the requirement of your court, we will mail your certificate of completion either to you or directly to your court.
